Pole Hearing

The Phillipston Board of Selectmen will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 7:00PM in the meeting room of the Phillipston Memorial Building, 20 The Common, Phillipston, MA 01331, to review a request from National Grid and Verizon to locate a pole, wires and fixtures, including necessary sustaining and protecting fixtures, along and across a public way: Blake Corner Rd – National Grid to install one (1) JO Pole on Blake Corner Road beginning at a point approximately 0 feet South of the centerline of the intersection of Route 2A and continuing approximately 150 feet in a Southerly direction. NG to install a pole between existing poles 1 and 0-50 Blake Corner Road. Pole will be located on town property on the West side of Blake Corner Road. Pole will be labeled 0-75, Phillipston, MA. Also for permission to lay and maintain underground laterals, cables and wires in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as each of said petitioners may desire for distributing purposes.
